As of September 2013, The Permitted clearing of native vegetation – Biodiversity assessment guidelines (the Guidelines) are incorporated into the Victoria Planning Provisions and all planning schemes in Victoria. These Guidelines replace the Victoria’s Native Vegetation – A Framework for Action.
The purpose of these Guidelines is to guide how impacts on biodiversity should be considered when assessing a planning permit application for a permit to remove, lop or destroy native vegetation.
Beacon Ecological are able to produce documents to satisfy planning application requirements for permits to remove native vegetation using the low risk-based pathway, medium risk-based pathway and high risk-based pathway.
Feel free to contact us if you require this service or have any questions regarding native vegetation removal in Victoria.
